Girls Track and Field
The girls are pumped and already on their way to a successful season! So far, they have competed against four schools, and this is just the beginning of their season.
The girls are working hard this season to be the best for themselves and the team.
All fellow Toreadors are wishing them luck this season.

Boys Track and Field
The boys and field are working hard in every meeting to make sure they make it to state and compete in the top half of the Racoon River Conference!
Coach Cosentino has always been in Track activities. He competed in Track in High school as well! He loves to coach Track because he gets to watch his athletes grow physically and mentally so that they can always be their best. He even rewards them with Gatorade and sometimes a sweet treat! “Coaching isn’t something I just do; it is who I am,” states Cosentino.
The following boys that are going out this year, are returners from last year! They help make the team better than ever with their knowledge of the sport and the charisma that they share with their team.

Girls Tennis
Shawn Latimer is the girls' tennis coach. He states that it is the team's goal to get entrants into the state tournament!
Three freshmen have already made it to the top ten!
Coach Latimer states that his favorite part of coaching tennis is seeing the same passion and strive in the girls that he also feels towards tennis. He has been coaching tennis so long that he hears from kids he coached Fifteen years ago that they now have kids that are also going out for tennis!
It is a long journey ahead. However; if you are doing something you love to do, keep striving and live for it!

Boys Tennis
The boy's tennis is starting their season off super strong.
They are led by five seniors who have been competing for four years! Owen Schieder, Devin Silbaugh, Tyler Lindhal, Wesley VanPelt, and Kyan Lehman.
These Athletes are working hard every day to get into the state for the ninth consecutive year and to be the best they can be.
Coach Jed Hammen says he loves watching them grow as athletes. Hammen also states that coaching tennis is one of his favorite times of the year! He gets to see friendships being made and memories that will live on forever.

Girls Soccer
The girl's soccer team is working hard every day to achieve their goals! The soccer team has progressively gotten better as the girls become more competitive and dedicated to the team.
April 1st, they beat their first record of the season! The girls' mercy ruled over Webster City. It is the first time in a very long time that the Boone Girls Soccer team is 10-0!
They could not have done it without their coach, Ollie Johnston.
Nate Wood, an athlete on the girl's soccer team, states that Ollie has played a huge part in helping their team grow. “Ollie always keeps practice fun and entertaining while also pushing us forward.” - Nate Wood.

Boys Soccer
Coach Conner Doyle stated that the boy's soccer team has a lot of returning players. This means more experienced players who know how to go, fight and win! They have been doing lots of drills during practice that help to motivate them and make them stronger for themselves and their team!
As a team, boys' soccer is very connected to one another. Playing the sport they all love, helps them stick together. Keep the team united!
They are now focused on simply being more in control on the field so that they can have the best season yet!
